Hi Everyone!

I haven't been keeping up with the blog because I am in the process of creating my NEW website and blog! It's taking waaaay longer than I thought it would. I have been spending a lot more time with family, and trying not to get too burnt out. But the REAL reason for this post is to share about a new project I am a part of. It is called Our Forever Neverland. It is a group of photographers who all have a goal to take more pictures of our families and share with one another. I take pictures of my kids quite often, but not as much as I would like. This is a weekly blog, so hopefully one of my pictures will be on display once a week.

I only submitted one picture, but here are a few from our day yesterday. We even ventured outside!

My son LOVES to dress up and he REALLY gets into character. Yesterday he was a super pirate. I had vacuumed earlier that day and one of the wands for it came off. He said "Oh! Mommy! You found my telescope!" That afternoon the snow started coming down like CRAZY. Huge, fat snowflakes and lots of them. I opened the blinds and told the kids to look outside at the snow. He of course had to look with his "telescope." I hurried and got them dressed in hopes I could get some fun pictures of them with the snowflakes. I was way too ambitious and by the time I got them all geared up, it had stopped snowing. So we just went and played instead. Side note: my daughter HATES walking in snow. Or touching snow. So she was extra grumpy but didn't want to go inside. Here are a few of the shots I grabbed. Baby Girl was napping while my little pirate was jumping on the bed, which is why there aren't as many of her.

My older brother Steve is newly engaged to the beautiful Morgan. While I was in Oak Harbor, they asked if I could meet them in Leavenworth for the Festival of Lights and also take some engagement pictures in the snow! I of course said yes. We spent the afternoon in the perfectly lit snow village and had a great time playing in the snow. Here are a few of my favorites, can't wait to share a few more!

It is going to be a really busy holiday season for our family, so I thought I would get started on my 2012 photo reflection! I only have a few more sessions scheduled for the end of the year and I will add my favorites from those in January.

There are A LOT of photos, I am so sorry about that! I just couldn't decide since I loved every single session! Here are my favorites and ones I feel really showcase my body of work for the year.

This might have been one of the sweetest couples. They were so soft spoken, it was a wonderful RELAXING day, which I don't say about a lot of weddings. The family was really fun and I had just an overall good time. As you will see, the wedding was fall themed and you can tell how much time and effort was put into everything. Kaylynne's mom made the desserts (which were delicious) and I really thought they were catered! It was perfect.

Congratulations you two!!
As always, thanks for stopping by! Feel free to tweet/pin/share.

Last month I was SO excited to do another senior session! Alexi is such a fun and driven girl and is great in front of the camera! She came up with the brilliant idea of doing some shots in the junkyard. I mean really, can you get any cooler? We shot at three locations in Idaho Falls, and had a great time! AND she plays golf and hockey!! How cool?

Here are some of my favorite shots:

I am SO excited for the Holiday season!!! Even MORE excited to get ready for a NEW YEAR and all that comes with it!
I will be redesigning my website, offering online proofing for sessions, and officially taking down family and children sessions. I will ONLY be offering newborns as part as the Maternity/Birth/Newborn packages. Loni Smith in Idaho Falls is great with newborns and I highly recommend her!

Also, it was up in the air for a little while, but my husband and I will NOT be relocating like we thought we might, so I will be taking more birth stories for 2013! I can't wait. I will be offering them for the Southeast Idaho area, Rexburg to Pocatello and areas nearby. I will still only be doing one a month!

I also will be offering hair and makeup for every portrait session which is included in the price! 2013 is going to rock!
